To Old and New Friends, Colleagues from Long Ago and all New Associations, Friends, and Family Members. CONGRATULATIONS and Love to our Graduates and New Alumni who are entering careers and starting new lives.
Please celebrate 2017 as we move into 2018, with hope for a New World led by open, courageous women raising voices, demanding a seat at the table!! The beginning of my dreams coming true!!
My past few months’ priority has been to complete a five year effort to clear my life of FILES. It has been a challenge, but also a real delight uncovering old memories and quotes. One I wish to share.
“Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness, that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, and fabulous? You are a child of god. Your playing small doesn’t serve the world. There’s nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people wont feel insecure around you. We are born to make manifest the glory of god that is within us. It’s not just in some of us; it’s in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others. “
“ A return to love”
The quote on this card has been circulating around the world for a few years now, incorrectly attributed to Nelson Mandela. This was due to a false posting one time on the Internet, which was reprinted repeatedly. It shows the power of the Internet to widely disseminate any information substantiated or not. Our apologies to Marianne Williamson, the actual author, She deserves credit
The day will be what you make it, so rise like the sun and shine
